Plug the header, and remove the tub from the EGR sensor. Put the sensor back in place and plug it back in. Don't put the vacuum tub back on. The EGR stays shut unless there is something going through it. With it still pluged in the computer thinks everything is fine. Try it, It worked for me. Typically an EGR cooler delete will lower your EGT about 40°F or so. That is good news for your turbo. I have deleted my EGR cooler,my EGR valve still sits where it is supposed to be. There is a SLIGHT chance that when you delete your EGR, you will NOT get a code. I will bety you that you will. Some people choose to fit an EGR delete and a catch can. This is less common as its the most expensive option and in most cases unnecessary. Oil going through your motor without the carbon is much less of a problem. Some systems have a plate over the EGR valve port. In other words, swirl flaps usually clog with soot or become damaged because of problems with the EGR system (exhaust gas recirculation system). Carbon from the EGR system and oil from the breather system create carbon build-up on the swirl flaps.
